Insurance Verification Through Headway
Before your first visit, we verify your insurance benefits.
- You provide your insurance information when booking.
- We submit it through Headway, our credentialing and billing partner.
- Headway confirms your eligibility, copay/coinsurance, and deductible.
- You receive a clear breakdown of your out-of-pocket cost before your first session.

Account Setup Through MyIO Portal
After your appointment is scheduled, you’ll receive an invitation to sign up with Valant MyIO, the patient portal connected to our EHR system. This can be completed with the MyIO Application or via a web browser.

Complete Intake Forms
Before your first session, you’ll be prompted to complete the following:
- Demographic information
- Consent forms
- Symptom questionnaires (PHQ-9, GAD-7, etc.)
- Any additional documents based on your needs that will help us tailor your care from day one

Join Your Telehealth Session
On the day of your appointment, you’ll receive:
- A text reminder
- An email reminder
- A portal notification
To begin your session:
- Open the MyIO Portal and Sign in.
- Tap “Start Telehealth Visit”
- You’ll be connected directly to your provider through a secure video platform
