I Anisha Dhan, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing modern, compassionate, and evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. With extensive experience in hospital, inpatient, outpatient, and consult-liaison psychiatry, I bring a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to every individual I serve.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing requires not just medication—but connection, understanding, collaboration, and personalized care.
Throughout my career, I have evaluated, diagnosed, and treated a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, behavioral dysregulation, autism spectrum disorders, and complex comorbid presentations.

My expertise spans acute crisis stabilization, psychopharmacological management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and long-term management of chronic mental health conditions.

My clinical journey includes serving as a Psychiatric NP Consult-Liaison at Silver Cross Hospital, where I provide psychiatric evaluations for medical and surgical patients, manage acute psychiatric concerns, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate mental health into comprehensive medical care.

Previously, at Holy Cross Hospital, I managed patients across inpatient psychiatry, outpatient care, crisis settings, and medical-unit consultations—stabilizing acute presentations and developing individualized treatment plans aligned with the highest standards of care.

My training experience includes 320+ hours under leading psychiatrists, where I gained advanced skills in emergency psychiatry, child/adolescent mental health, medication management, family counseling, relapse prevention, and behavioral planning.

At present, as the founder of NeuroHorizon Professional Corporation, my mission is to transform mental health care by offering accessible, empathetic, and clinically sophisticated telepsychiatry services. NeuroHorizon blends modern convenience with high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care—ensuring patients receive support that is comprehensive, collaborative, and tailored to their unique needs.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (PMHNP) from Walden University and a Bachelor of Nursing from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College. I am licensed in Illinois as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse, and I am certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
